The accronym CAE stands for Computer Aided Engineering. The user program is automatically provided with many relevant calculations and much information from the drawing.
In HT2000-CAE, calculations and drawings are bound closely with one another - as in no other program. Drawing and calculating run in the same working procedure. Compared with standard CAD programs, the drawing elements in HT2000-CAE have much more information. Elements are allocated to the respective rooms while other elements are defined as subtraction areas in the calculation. A line indicates a pipe-line and connects a radiator with the piping. The elements in HT2000-CAE contain many more parameters and components as well.
Information is taken directly from the drawing in HT2000-CAE and is then passed on to the calculation program.
Elements from the drawing are passed on to the heatload program. The heatload is determined and indicated in the drawing. This is then used as the foundation for designing the radiators layouts or the underfloor heating.
The window size minus the minimum dimensions is defined as the maximum construction length of the radiator. The construction height of the radiator is limited by the breast height of the window. The result of the radiator design is immediately shown on the screen.
The pipes that are drawn in are used in the pipe network calculation with lengths, zeta-values and T-pieces. After the calculation is complete, the dimensions are automatically entered in the drawing.
This tight link between the drawing and the calculation supports computer aided engineering work efficiently.
You can also see that very tight bond must exist between CAD and the calculation so that effective and sensible work is possible.
We have designed HT2000-CAE completely by ourselves. Of course you ask why we wouldn't just expand on another CAD system like others do.
We have excellent reasons: - Optimal
integration of the calculation programs
- Same
type of construction for all program parts
- The
possibility of an "intelligent" CAE system
- Short
integration times - faster processing
- Optimal
scope of functionality for the house engineering planner
- Calculations
can be taken directly from the drawing
- Results
can be taken into account in the drawing immediately
- All
program modifications are handled in our own departments
- Individual modifications, e.g. symbols and plan header are easy to make
